I’d say they fit just right, based on my pair.
Since they keep their shape and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d recommend sizing up.
How comfy are they?
They felt good almost immediately. I wear no-show socks with them, especially since my feet get sweaty. High-end Italian leather construction, so it’s much more comfortable than breaking in fake leather. Bonus, they’re already broken-in so your feet just slide in.
How durable are they?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. The laces are intact, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
How do they compare to other sneakers?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose still come out on top. They have a hidden arch lift that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is one of a kind. And the glitter on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Are they worth it?
Yes! Just try not to pay full price. They’re expensive, so getting them with a promo is a better idea. They’re worth the investment, especially if you get a pair you love. I went bold with sparkle, but a neutral version would also go with everything.
